Di Chai, an innovative Interaction Designer graduating from HCI in 2023, hails from Cranbrook Academy of Art with an undergraduate degree from Wuhan University. A curiosity-driven designer, she adeptly incorporates emerging technologies like IoT, AR, Kinect, and AI voice transcription into her designs. Di"s interactive art installations contributed to raising $1 million for the 2022 CAA gala. With expertise in tackling intricate brand design challenges, she has collaborated with over 20 firms including JBL, Shixiang Tech, and Cyberaid. As a devoted activist, writer, and thinker, Di has contributed to LGBTQ initiatives, documented their stories, and penned compelling narratives for the "Queer" magazine. Her involvement in publishing the oral history of Chinese disabled women, "Live in the Sunshine”.
