A Corporate Internship changed the trajectory of my life & I’m passionate about supporting underserved, untapped potential of students like me. At 17 years old a church friend referred me to a finance sector human resources internship that ended up paying 100% tuition for my NYU undergraduate degree & blossomed into an 18 year career! Access to opportunity honed my potential & took me from teen daughter of blue collar Jamaican immigrants to 1st generation college graduate & Assistant Vice President managing a multi-million dollar global HR Technology system.
