Graphic & web design are my two passions. My experience designing includes everything from logos & consistent branding & rebranding, website building and maintenance, digital & print ads and more for local clients here in Wilmington. I have experience in various types of digital marketing including Google Ads & SEO optimization, email newsletters and social media marketing. I’m highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign with some Java, PHP and HTML5 experience as well. Emily Rae Art was established in 2010 and it includes not only my pottery business, but my freelance graphic & web design too, working with clients for over 12 years. My current employment is for a local retail business, Uptown Market. I’ve been their Social Media Coordinator for about 2 years. I"ve also rebranded both of her businesses with two new logos linking her new sister business that was just opened in July to her original business. A Sign From Above is a local print shop that I worked at for over a year as one of their lead graphic designers. There we professionally designed anything from logo packages to LED signs, other marketing materials, screen printed company apparel and more. We advertised and designed for all types of businesses from large corporations to local "Mom & Pop" stores. Customer satisfaction is always my main objective. I love working with clients, which is why have continued my freelance work throughout the entire time working other jobs. Remaining current and up-to-date with modern, professional design trends and other key industry changes is very important to me. I am truly happy when designing and I specialize in typography, consistent branding and layout. All of the freelance work I have done throughout the years has revealed how much I love working in this industry. Although I’ve mainly kept my web & graphic design work on the side since the pandemic started, I am now aiming to work for a company full-time in my two strongest fields: marketing and design. I am organized and detail oriented, know how to communicate professionally and have a great deal of experience working with every type of client. I have a constant desire to learn new things and want to keep moving forward with my career. Remote work seems like the most logical next step for me going forward in my career path and this is an industry that is so exciting and new.
