Hi, my name is Samantha. I write stories about, and from, a lens cured in the intersectionality of a 1st Gen American of South Caribbean immigrants, growing up in the lavish cultures of Brooklyn New York. I have full creations of poetry, short stories of fiction about memory and belonging. I have two novel structured books I am writing, that keeps my keen research skills — mostly learned through my education and occupation as a legal professional — up to date. I am working on more short stories that will likely be for an anthology. I am in pre-production for entertaining literary and low content digital products, including recipe lists, beauty regimens, and self care tips. I am also producing a podcast series that will accompany a comic series that I have created and written that is currently in production. I write/create in multiple genres: SyFy, Caribbean feminist folklore, romance, Afro futurism, historical fiction, speculative fiction or magical realism, action adventure, humor, and horror. In addition, I write non-fiction essays on a variety of subjects. I am also a literary developmental editor for short stories, comics, and multiple genres of content for a variety of placement. I write and edit your stories in your voice — I can help you find your unique literary voice. I would like to expand on these experiences and have a fully developed career in writing, editing, and production, exclusively. I am very interested in work-for-hire and permanent positions at the moment. Perhaps I may be able to support you with your endeavor. I am also open to co-creation and/or collaborations.
