Bio
A dedicated action taker in things that I am passionate about. For over 10 years, I have guided business development and operations within the health and fitness industry. As an entrepreneur, I am focused on transforming operations and identifying innovative ways to boost business profitability. For example, I changed Northern RI Strength and Conditioning operations by rebranding and adding additional products and programs. I maintained a 17% overall profit margin prior to selling the business in May 2021. My current role has me taking my education and experience to enhance the operational efficiency, marketing, social media, partnerships, and finances of a non-profit in the mental health digital media space, focusing on increasing the accessibility of mental health resources tailored for educators, parents/caregivers, and youth-serving professionals. Having been a small business owner, I saw a need in the small business community for advocates and assistance. I was a founding member and current executive board member of the RI Small Business Coalition, and I am a SCORE business mentor and deliver workshops, advising businesses in all phases of their life-cycle on marketing, funding, business plan development, and other issues. In addition to my business expertise, I have led classrooms for over ten years as a passionate Science, Anatomy, Physiology, Biology, Nutrition, and Chemistry instructor. I also am the head rugby coach at Bryant University, motivating students to succeed, and instilling a culture of excellence within the team, on and off the field ☛ Key Skills ☚ ✦ Business Development ✦ Team Leadership ✦ Marketing Strategy ✦ Operational Efficiency ✦ Process Improvement ✦ Event Management ✦ Digital Marketing ✦ Change Management ✦ Program Development
