Bio

I am obsessed with collective intelligence. How obsessed, you ask? Well, let me tell you a story... In 2018, I led the MIT BeeMe experiment, a massive immersive performance where 2000 online users controlled me as their human avatar to solve a Halloween Internet mystery. The experiment went viral, and I was featured (among many, many others) in BBC, Forbes, The Verge, ABC, El Pais, and La Repubblica. In 2020 I co-founded PSi, a scalable audio platform enabling organizations and communities to get actionable insights from massively scalable voice conversations. Since 2021, I have led the Collective Intelligence Lab at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where I am a tenure-track professor of cyberpsychology. I have a swarm intelligence patent, along with Louis Rosenberg (unanimous.ai).
