Bio
An ESE (Early Streamer Emission) lightning arrester is a device designed to protect buildings and structures from lightning strikes. It works by emitting a streamer in advance of the lightning strike, which then draws the lightning towards the arrester and away from the structure it is protecting. The ESE lightning arrester is made up of a metal rod or mast, a central spark gap, and an electronic circuit that triggers the emission of the streamer. It is typically installed on the highest point of a building or structure to provide the most effective protection against lightning strikes.
