I’m Jose Manuel Pichardo Jr., a licensed Part 107 drone operator and video production professional with experience in aerial cinematography, lighting, grip work, production assistance, and digital humanities. I’m passionate about storytelling and bring a sharp eye for detail to every project. I’ve worked on a variety of projects, including the short documentary An Army Rising Up, where I served as a camera operator and lighting technician. In the music video It"s On You by PMD, I managed grip and lighting to create the perfect visual impact. As director of Resilience in Communities, East Harlem, I combined my skills in drone operation and editing to bring a unique perspective to the story. I’ve also collaborated with the Mississippi Delta Film Academy as a drone cinematographer, capturing stunning aerial footage for documentary projects. Currently, I’m part of an investigative documentary with filmmaker Kevin S. Murphy, where I’m using drones to reveal fresh perspectives on the story. In addition to my work in film, I’m involved in community-focused projects like 914United, where I provide drone and videography services to highlight local stories of resilience. I’m always looking for new ways to blend technical skills with creativity to bring powerful stories to life.
