Bio
Editor-in-Chief at the Coin Bureau I started my journey into adulthood working in the depths of Mordor, sucking the life force from Middle Earth. By that I mean I worked in the traditional financial system as a registered Financial Advisor. After preying on the innocent for a number of years, naively believing that I was helping people by providing financial education, I realized that banks were not the answer and working within a corrupt system was not the best way to help people overcome financial hardships. I decided to ditch the desk, quit the sales pressure and KPIs and work for myself as a trader, angel investor and entrepreneur. It wasn"t until years later that I would be introduced to the world of crypto. I started learning about some of the altruistic endeavours that many crypto projects undertake, and it made me realize that crypto actually has the ability to make the world a better place. This really hit home for me as the reason I got into traditional finance was that I was very passionate about the mission of helping people achieve a better level of financial health through education, as I felt that it was something that was sorely needed within our society. I see an opportunity through blockchain technology where we really can help people reach a higher standard of financial health and freedom. Cryptocurrency and decentralization may not be the end-all, be-all, but I do feel it is the best chance we have for humanity to escape the Orwellian 1984-style future we seem to be heading for full steam ahead, and if there is any chance at creating a better future for ourselves, I want to be part of it.
