Discover exactly how to report to credit bureau as a business using The Credit App. When a customer fails to pay, you can start by creating an account and uploading a signed contract that’s more than 30 days past due. The Credit App then sends personalized notices to the debtor via email, text, and certified mail to urge payment and avoid negative credit reporting. If the debt remains unpaid after 30 days, we will report customer credit directly to major credit bureaus, listing your company as the creditor so they know who’s owed. A negative credit mark stays on the debtor’s credit record for seven years unless they pay in full, at which point the mark can be removed. This streamlined process helps small business owners hold delinquent customers accountable and pursue recovery by leveraging formal credit reporting without needing direct data furnisher status.
