Engineering is my first love. As a senior hardware engineer for over a decade I designed FPGAs for air traffic control radar systems. For this phase of my life I have joyfully pivoted into web development, and it feels good to be on this path. It is important to me that I work in an environment where everyone’s humanity is respected and nurtured and where I can help contribute to that level of inclusivity. The most productive teams I have been on have been the ones where that kind of respect is the standard. We are able to more freely share information and help one another grow and produce our best work.
