Yesterday we visited the famous Shaikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi which is known for it’s stunning masterpiece, it’s spectacular architecture & intricate design 😍

5 Facts about the Mosque:

1️⃣ The materials used to build the mosque were brought in from all around the world🌍

2️⃣ It’s iconic chandeliers resemble upturned palm trees, a symbol of prosperity in the UAE🇦🇪

3️⃣ The mosque’s lighting system is connected to the lunar cycle 🌝

4️⃣ It’s design is inspired by Mughal, Ottoman and Persian architecture 🕌

5️⃣ It’s construction began in 1996 and took 11 years to build 🧱

I highly recommend everyone to visit this place if you ever travel to the UAE 🇦🇪

It will simply take your breathe away 😍😮‍💨
