When Forrest Gump said "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get", I never realized until I got years older how true this statement is. This is true for our day-to-day life. All we can do is taste what life brings us and see if it is going to be sweet or bitter. On the sweet days, we tend to sit back and enjoy life. On the bitter days, we tend to work hard to overcome the bitterness. This is where society has things backward. We should be working just as hard on the sweet days as we do on the bitter days.
