So a little PSA to manufacturers, mainly anything with circuit boards and motors. Supply some damn documentation with your product. Have a troubleshooting guide with your product. Nothing is more frustrating than having an issue, trying to figure it out, and can't find ANY documentation to help narrow down the problem. Electronics have gotten so finicky these days that troubleshooting documentation is going to be a huge selling point. A side note: Not everyone has the time to spend hours on the phone with tech support to troubleshoot. People like me would rather troubleshoot and fix the issue themselves. A lot of the time this is faster and just as reliable as sending the product off...
